Easy French Shabby Chic Office Decorating Hacks You Need to Know Part 1
Is your home office uninspiring? Your psychological well-being and somatic health will both improve from a designated relaxation area or meditation spot since it will prevent you from slumping over your workspace for 8 hours.
To create a positive atmosphere in your workspace, add plants, paint the walls your favorite color, and have just the right amount of lighting. Provide your pet with a vantage point where they can watch you work and be close for cuddles. It's not uncommon for people to decorate their offices to feel at ease and content, and this can result in an increase in productivity, explains Steven Schiavo, a Wesley College professor who specializes in environmental psychology.

19 Essential Elements to Create a French-Inspired Home Office
What are the essentials to create a French-Inspired home office? Your style might lean toward Parisian, French Provincial, French Country, French Farmhouse, or French Cottage - yet these all have many things in common. It isn’t necessary to incorporate all of these elements, just as you go by the 80/20 rule. Strive to make 80% of your space define the French style you wish to achieve. The remaining 20% can be an eclectic collected look.
Defining Elements:
Statement-making French-style vintage desk with cabriole legs
French antiques such as a clock or crystal chandelier-table lamp
Soothing beautiful paint color such as French Gray or French Blue. Try using chalk paint to upcycle a vintage piece finished with antique glazing.
Neutral Fabrics such as linens in solid colors, or in a pattern such as gingham, toile, damask, trellis & farmhouse stripes in neutral colors
Curated decor accents such as cloches, silver objects, cherubs, vintage French books
Rustic elements & textures such as weathered woods to balance feminine features such as graceful, curving lines
Checkered floors and a tone-on-tone rug

French Inspired Home Office Study by edithandevelyn.com
Image: Edith & Evelyn Vintage
This home office study by edithandevelyn.com has changed over the years as you can see in the next photo.
My favorite elements:
The light wood plank ceiling
A pair of ornate console lamps, gilded
An antique painting of a pastoral scene
Antique gold clock
Also note the carved frieze on the console, the french country chairs, the tobacco basket used to collect office supplies, and the use of French blue.
This next image shows the elevated space that was created over time. The only things that remained are the ceiling, floors, chandelier, console, and console lamps.
I love the addition of the:
Ormulu mirror
Lavender plants have joined the console lamps
Caned back chair
Whimsical cloche vignette
Cherub & flowers
French Plat Desk
For my own office, I am inspired by the blue console or set of drawers, not sure what this particular piece is exactly.

2. Home Office by Brooke Gianetti
Brooke Gianatti’s home office has also gone through several transformations over the years. The final result is perfectly curated.
My favorites are:
White wood plank ceiling
Lantern chandelier
Bobo cabinet
Wingback chair in linen
French Country style Natalie desk from Tritter Feefer
French Country armchair
Brick flooring
I am drawing on the styled cabinet with vintage books as inspiration for my own office. While I love the wing back chair, I don’t think it would give me the ergonomic support that I require.
